Simple Thought Experiment

Imagine you are rich, filthy, stinking rich. Happily so. What do you do with the money? You open a business. But you're rich and have other things to do, so you hire people to manage the business. You hire managers, supervisors, thinkers, workers, laborers, you hire everyone you need to operate that business. But then, down the road a little, something strange happens. Half of the folks you hired won't speak to the other half. They form sides, divisions, groups, and will not even communicate with the other side. They spread lies about each other, call each other names. The business suffers. It's reputation suffers. It's output suffers. What do you do? What do you do? You fire them all. Both sides. A business cannot operate with such internal division. Clean house and start anew.
